2018 Harley-Davidson Breakout

2018 Harley Breakout!!                 Only 9,222 Miles!!!                                                                             The 2018 Breakout gets a smattering of other updates in addition to those coming to the entire Softail line.  The Breakout 114 was born of the customer desire for something long, low, and modern.  The 5.0-gallon fuel tankfrom years past has been ditched for a reshaped, smaller 3.5-gallon one, while the analog speedometer has been replaced by a semi-hidden digital one. ABS is standard on it.  It also borrows the headlight from used on Harley-Davidson’s prototype electric motorcycle called Livewire.                                                                                                                                              The Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin engine packs the extra displacement for more power and torque across the rev range.  This one has Vance & Hines pipes on it too. On the intake side, it has a "Filter Charger" exposed filter on it.                         Let that mighty mill breath!!!                                                                                                                                                                 At the rear, Harley ditched the old Softail’s under-engine hidden twin shocks in favor of a single under-seat coil-over unit. The changes make shock action conventional--that is the rear wheel hits a bump and compresses the shock--whereas the old design extended the shocks when the wheel hit a bump. The new design improves performance by offering increased wheel travel, improved damping and a larger range of spring preload adjustment, while still maintaining the hardtail look brought about by the “shockless” rear frame triangle.      How can you not see the FAT rear tire??  Both the tires are new.   It has been fully serviced, and it is ready to ride!!!
