2015 BMW F 700GS

2015 BMW F 700GS with only 11,984 Miles!!!                                                                                                                                                                                        The F700 GS-{800cc}- The motorcycle that will take you anywhere!!! User friendly in every way.           BMW’s F700GS adventure bike has the same 798cc displacement as the F800GS but costs thousands less.  The DOHC opposed twin in the F700GS is detuned, kicking out a reported 75 hp compared to 85 hp for the F800GS. And this makes the smaller machine a friendlier choice for new riders, and plenty of go go for seasoned bike veterans.      Besides delivering a noticeably mellower power hit, the F700GS weighs less than the F800GS.    It sports a a lower seat height (32.3 inches versus 34.6 inches, respectively), which aids in low-speed maneuvering.      Heated grips come standard with two options. Nice and warm, to fully toasty – excellent.                                                                         The dash’ has an analogue speedometer mounted above an analogue tachometer that is clear and easy to read. An LCD is mounted to the side with all the usual info such as fuel level, trip, time and warning lights.                      

Happily, for easy maintenance in the garage at home a center stand comes standard on the 700 as well as the normal kick stand. In general all controls are easy to operate, the ergos are comfortable and relaxed with a sensible, logical and commanding riding position.                                                                                                                                                                 Riding the 700 is very pleasant. The 798cc engine is engaging, responsive and, smooth.  Backed with a six speed, smooth shifting transmission. 

 It has ASC (Automatic Stability Control) That’s traction control, one is able to switch it on and off. Both ends have switchable ABS that functions very well and can be deactivated for off-road use. The floating front discs and floating twin piston Brembo calipers are certainly adequate without being over kill.                                                                                             About 1,000 miles ago, we installed new brakes, and tires on it during it's in house service session.                                                                               To sum up, BMW’s F700GS is a genuinely nice bike and great to ride.  It is fast enough, very comfortable, handles well, frugal on the gas and has some great creature comforts. Be it touring, commuting or general exploring it is a very likable, comfortable and capable machine.  This one has had some repair work done the the left side of the fairing.
