• Engine

The 250cc, liquid-cooled DOHC, 8-valve parallel twin is designed to outperform the competition, while still offering characteristics that helps make an engine feel friendly for the novice rider. Contributing to the confidence-inspiring feel of the Ninja 250 engine is a cylinder head design that takes full advantage of the main- and sub-throttle valves to deliver plenty of low- and mid-range power, as well as rubber engine mounting to reduce vibration.

• Supersport Influence

The Ninja 250 is an “entry-level” bike that features major influence from its bigger Ninja supersport brothers. Dual headlamps, a stylish seat cowl, sleek, aerodynamic body panels, and a wide rear tire all come together to make the Ninja 250 a motorcycle embraced by new and experienced riders alike.

• Wheels And Tires  The front tire ins new, the rear looks like new!!! 

A quick glance at the wheels on the Ninja 250 and they’ll seem familiar. That’s because they were styled to be similar to the  multi-spoke design found on the Ninja ZX-14R.

• Assist And Slipper Clutch

For a novice, a sudden downshift at higher rpm can be challenging. But the Ninja 250 is equipped with an assist and slipper clutch that can help smooth out shifting. The assist uses rotational forces of the clutch hub and pressure plate to force the clutch together during acceleration so that fewer and lighter clutch springs can be used for a lighter feel at the lever. During sudden deceleration, the slipper function allows some clutch slippage to help prevent engine lock-up, stalling and rear-wheel hop so you can ride more confidently.                                                                                                             It has an aftermarket exhaust on it.                                                                                                                                         The last owner did do some backyard paintwork to it. I would call it a 10 foot paint job, because it looks ok from 10 feet away.                                                                                                                                                                                               It runs and rides well!   Ready to ride!!!
