1979 Yamaha XS650 Twin

The XS650 debuted on the market in 1970 as the XS-1, At that time it was the biggest bike in the Yamaha stable. The Classic Twin 650!!!  The standard model’s looks would remain virtually unchanged until its discontinuation in 1980 in favor of a factory custom version with raised handlebars and a stepped seat.  A 1979 XS650 is what we have here.  This one runs well, it could use some clean up work, but the hard part is done, IT RUNS GREAT!!  Only 17,037 miles, That is only 400 miles a year!! One could look for a long time to find one of these. Thay are getting hard to find!! It has the original pipes, and paint. The factory painted tank is not perfect, The tank has a dent in it, and the seat has been taped up.  Please look at the pictures.  Keep in mind it is 42 years old.  It has been fully serviced, It's ready to go, Give us a call!!
