• NEXT-LEVEL PERFORMANCE: The 2024 KX™450X motorcycle's advanced controls are now closer together for rider convenience. Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC), Power Mode Selection, and Launch Control Mode are now available at the push of a button. These features enable riders to quickly adjust power delivery and traction for riding conditions and preference. The KX450X provides advanced technology designed to inspire confidence.
• CHOOSE YOUR PREFERENCE: The KX™450X motorcycle features power mode selection, a first for KX™ models, which allows riders to switch between two power modes quickly and easily. Riders can select between Normal (Full Power) and Mild response to suit riding conditions or preference. Mild response is good for riders still familiarizing themselves with the high-performance of the KX450X.
• KAWASAKI TRACTION CONTROL: The 2024 KX™450X now features Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) at the push of a button. By using the traction button (T) on the left handlebar, riders can quickly and easily select from two levels (Weak or Strong) of traction control to suit riding conditions and preference. Riders may also elect to turn the system off.
• POWER FROM THE START: A factory-style launch control system helps put the KX™450X motorcycle’s power to the ground for maximum acceleration. By pushing the Mode and Traction buttons simultaneously, riders activate the launch control system which is designed to deliver efficient race starts in low-traction conditions, making the holeshot yours for the taking.
• SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY: Thanks to smartphone connectivity, riders can adjust engine mapping straight from their phones via RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX™, without the need for extra equipment. The app also provides KX FI Calibration to check fuel volume and ignition timing, engine monitoring for checking engine metrics, a maintenance log for recording memo-style logs and many more useful functions.
• LIGHT PULL & SELF-ADJUSTING: A coned disc-spring hydraulic clutch offers light clutch pull and a wide engagement range. Compared to a conventional clutch, the hydraulic clutch offers more direct feel and lighter lever action, while large diameter plates provide enhanced fade resistance.

Chassis & Ergonomics

• RACE-WINNING CAPABILITY: Stay ahead of the competition with a strong and lightweight chassis, agile handling, and exclusive ERGO-FIT® technology.
• HIGH-PERFORMANCE BREMBO BRAKE SYSTEM: A high-performance Brembo brake system delivers next-level stopping power on the all-new KX™450X bike. The new braking system features drilled Braking/Sunstar discs (270/240mm) paired with a Brembo caliper and master cylinder at the front and a Nissin caliper and master cylinder at the rear. The high-performance system offers increased controllability on the brakes, contributing to enhanced corner entry.
• POWER TO THE GROUND: The KX™450X motorcycle is built to meet the tough demands of cross-country racing. Cross-country wheels (F21"/R18") are paired with specific Dunlop Geomax AT81 tires developed for GNCC racing.
• LIGHTWEIGHT & NIMBLE: A redesigned lightweight aluminum perimeter frame accommodates the updates to the engine’s intake and exhaust systems, while delivering a high level of both light, nimble handling, and a composed character. Optimized rigidity balance contributes to increased front-end feel that translates to improved cornering performance in a wider range of conditions.
• GET A GRIP: Wide footpegs ensure excellent grip for optimum comfort and control, and make it easier to weight the pegs.

• OPTIMIZED BODYWORK: Newly designed shrouds, side panels, and rear fender are firmer and eliminate hooking points, further facilitating rider movement.
• RENTHAL® FATBAR® HANDLEBAR & ODI LOCK-ON GRIPS: A factory-style aluminum Renthal® Fatbar® handlebar comes standard. New medium-compound ODI Lock-On Grips offer excellent grip feel, while their screw-type fastening system greatly facilitates the task of swapping grips.
• EASY ACCESS: A new quick-release side cover can be removed without tools, allowing for easier access to the air filter element.

Cross-Country Tuned Suspension

• DOMINATE OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS: The 2024 KX™450X motorcycle's high-performance, race-ready suspension has been optimized for cross-country racing, especially on aggressive trails.
• OPTIMIZED FOR CROSS-COUNTRY: A high-performance 49mm inverted Showa coil-spring fork comes directly from the 2024 KX™450. Front spring rates and damping settings tuned for the cross-country scene offer increased feedback, especially when riding on challenging trails.
• ADJUSTABLE SETTINGS: The new Uni-Trak® rear suspension system features a Showa shock with adjustable dual-range (high- and low-speed) compression damping, adjustable rebound damping, and adjustable preload. This system mounts the suspension arm below the swingarm, allowing a longer rear suspension stroke for more precise tuning. As a result, riders can optimize damping and rear-wheel traction to suit conditions and personal preference.

• SMOOTH POWER DELIVERY: A flat torque curve makes it easier to get on the gas sooner, delivering smooth and powerful acceleration to pass the competition and keep you ahead of the pack.
• OPTIMIZED PERFORMANCE: Engine maps are optimized for cross-country racing and are now tunable using RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX™ on your smartphone. By tuning engine maps, the rider can change power delivery to best suit riding conditions and personal preference.
• QUICK STARTING: Being able to restart your engine quickly can be the difference between keeping your lead or having to fight your way back through the pack. Electric start makes restarting the engine as easy as pushing a button.
