The relaxed riding position of the Ninja® 400 motorcycle allows accommodation for a wide variety of riders and riding situations. Clip-on-style handlebars offer a more upright riding position for a sporty, yet comfortable feel. Low seat height and semi-rear set footpegs combine for a rider triangle that adds to the riding comfort and allows for an easy reach to the ground at stops.
Powering the Ninja® 400 motorcycle is a compact 399cc twin-cylinder engine, offering class-leading performance and easy-to-use power. Downdraft-style intake contributes to broad, responsive power that’s easy to manage and exciting to push. Excellent roll-on acceleration makes freeway merging a breeze, while the Assist and Slipper clutch ensures a light clutch pull and improves control while downshifting.
The Ninja® 400 motorcycle features a lightweight trellis frame, optimized for a balanced feel and responsive handling. The trellis frame and 41mm fork work together to deliver superior front-end stability and feel for easy steering and improved rider confidence. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension features optimized linkage ratios for the shock with five-way preload adjustability for outstanding traction and comfort in a wide range of riding situations. Largest in its class, the 310mm semi-floating petal front disc brake delivers strong, progressive stopping power.
