This Yamaha "naked" upright bike is known as the FZ1 in the United States and FZS1000 Fazer in Europe. It has tubular steel frame and modified YZF-R1, 1000 cc, liquid-cooled, 20-valve, DOHC, in-line four-cylinder engine which is carbureted. The result is a lightweight street standard with around 140hp at the crank. This one has a great sounding Genuine Yamaha "GYTR" pipe on it, What a nice pleasant exhaust note! Suspension on the rear consists of a single mono shock w/ piggyback reservoir and adjustable preload, adjustable compression, and adjustable rebound damping; Coil Spring / Gas-oil Damper; 5.31 in of travel. Suspension on the front has a 43mm telescopic fork w/adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping; 5.6 in travel. Slick handling and, excellent brakes too!! The Michelin "Pilot" tires are like new. The chain and rear sprocket looks new too! The instrument panel provides a clear view of the speedo, and tach, two trip meters, a fuel gauge and a digital clock. A super smooth, and comfortable bike, with plenty of power, and torque that will get you through the twistys, and down the open road, Im talking about the FZ-1!
